Luminar ’24

New Luminar Features for 2024

Skylum does it again with the release of new and enhanced cutting-edge image editing tools tailored for professional and novice photographers alike.

Now, “without beating around the bush,” let’s get straight to the point with a line-up of both new and enhanced key Luminar Neo features aimed at streamlining the photo editing experience.

Using a single slider, Twilight Enhancer allows you to easily adjust a sunrise scene to accentuate that mesmerizing pink-blue spectrum of light.

Replicate the ethereal ambiance of the blue and golden hours around dawn and dusk, enhancing your landscape and outdoor photographs with creative color effects.

The perfect tool for transforming a muddy pond into a shimmering turquoise pool with just a few simple adjustments.

Watter Enhancer AI allows you to change the color of the water and modify other qualities like texture and depth with unprecedented ease and precision.

Simplify your workflow with concurrent batch processing, allowing for an efficient editing experience. Process up to 1000 images using dynamic bracket creation and drag-and-drop organisation.

This looks to be a very useful tool that quickly creates masks with a single click for specific subjects, objects, and details in images for precision edits and faster workflow.

Imagine being able to isolate and brighten someone’s eyes in a portrait or enhance the details of a moving object.

With Luminosity Masking, you can target specific areas of an image based on brightness levels enabling selective adjustments to highlights, midtones, and shadows.

Introducing new waiting status animations, which keep you informed of how far along the app is during image loading and processing

New Luminar Look and Feel

In addition to these developments, Skylum is redesigning Luminar Neo’s appearance and feel to better align with its goals for the product line and application ecosystem. This includes updated colour schemes, a redesigned logo and product icon, and minor stylistic adjustments made to the Luminar Neo desktop programme.

Furthermore, Skylum is pleased to present a brand-new category called Landscape, which is devoted to landscape photography and features all of the necessary tools in one location, including some well-known features like Sky AI and Atmosphere. Photographers have all they need to create lifelike landscape scenes with this specialised collection.

Luminar Neo is available on Skylum’s website, as well as the Microsoft Store and Apple’s Mac App Store.
